......the point is that the mind shouldn't get stuck- it should flow. However, if whenever I am bored I go and do something, I'll be very tired. So, as the Zen master said, I should learn to just be bored. That way, my mind is not always running after the world. I conclude, purely for myself, that there are 2 ways. Number 1: In times of boredom, go do something. Number 2 : In times of boredom, accept it and sit still. The decision should be instant, as if facing death- do I sit or do I run? It's the actions inbetween, when the mind dwells and clings, that cause the problem. I once met a guy who said that Buddhism was about laziness or non-action. I disagree. I think it is about doing things with a peaceful mind. One that is focused on the action; connected to the action rather than repelling it.
Anyway, tis my birthday today!!I am 27. 27 yrs. I have been. Tis a funny world. Gunna have a doze now.........
