Good Morning
Only a few days now until my brother arrives and we set off into Japan's past. We're going to camp by a river in Kyoto; visit Nara by Shinkansen ( 16 minutes ); travel by bus to the remoter mountinous region of Wakayama ken and stay at the Buddhist temple Koya san; go by bus through the heart of the mountains and camp by some outdoor spas; hike the old pilgrim's road to the coast; take a ferry back to Kyoto ( 13 hours ) !! If all goes to plan, that is. Hopefully it won't go to plan- that's the ideal.
Anyway, time to move to the sounds of the morning......
