Company Man
Today was my company yearly party/meeting. It was a nightmare!!We had to sit through about 50 speeches. Luckily I didn't make one, but I did get forced to do a song on the karaoke. I sung "Imagine". I tried to make it as non-party orientated as possible, and just sung it straight. Well, to be honest, I didn't really have the will to direct the style of the song at all....I just sang it like I knew it. I actually really enjoyed doing that. I think the bottle of Vodka helped!As I sang, I envisaged a world without suffering etc. I can never sing YMCA, you see. I have to sing something with meaning or I feel like a clown. Anyway, Yoski said he nearly cried!Ha ha....he's been watching "The Office" recently and has now mastered the art of British humour. But the President of the company said I sung well, and I don't think he has a copy!
