Thanks Jupiter I watched a fascinating programme on Discovery channel last night which left me amazed. It seems that since our planet was created we have been under attack by millions of meteorites and comets ( big snowballs! ) and that we've only survived by the grace of the planet Jupiter which has such a strong gravitational pull that it deflects most oncoming attacks. Some debris makes its way into our atmosphere, however, like the big meteorite that wiped out the dinosaurs. In addition to this, there's the big monsterous black holes. They're incredible. It seems there is one huge one, about 200 million times the density of our sun, at the centre of our galaxy Milky Way. As our planet races around our galaxy at an unbelievable rate there is a chance that we could be sucked into it. If we are, as our sun is pulled unbearably closer to earth, all of life will perish. Then earth will disappear! Anyway, I'd just like to thank Jupiter for saving us!
We seem to be living as if earth will be around forever.
Today is 20 degrees. And it's very very windy.
