"Think I'm Turning Japanese"
Upon recomendation from Yoski AND Naomi, I've started reading this manga called Galaxy Express 999. It's a fantastic story about a kid whose mother is killed by human machines, and who, after avenging her death, travels to a far away galaxy to find a planet where he can get a free machine body and so live for ever. He travels on a train and stops off at different planets and stars along the way. It's by the guy who made the video for Daft Punk, "One More Time". I need to study much more to understand a lot of the conversations in the story, so this is my motivation now. Sod studying to be able to communicate with people - I wanna be able to read about the machine body searching boy! That is what matters in life! In addition to reading manga, I play Pachinko. I will refrain from talking about it lest it encourage anyone else reading this. And what else has made me think I'm turning Japanese. Hmmm. That small manga book is enough for me!
