The View
Caspian lived in a valley. On either side of him rose two huge awe-inspiring mountains. His father and mother had told him never to climb them, lest he slip and fall to his death. A few people had climbed them and were never seen again. The villagers erected signs: " Do not climb over the monsters! If you do, they will throw you down headfirst into the valley! "
Capian, by nature an inquistive boy, decided to climb them just the same, much to the chagrin of his little brother, " But it will involve so much pain" he said. " And even if you make it past the "Lake of Stars", you'll never make it across the "Canyon of Dreams" alive! What's the point Caspian?Don't go!!"
Caspain laughed, " Little brother, don't worry. Down here in the valley, our lives are too simple. We're dying; don't you see?". Caspian hugged his little brother and began his journey over the mountains...
As Caspian set off to do battle with the monsters, he knew in his heart that tomorrow he would be able to see the view he'd always hoped for and he knew that whatever troubles he encountered, he would always be moving closer and closer to his home.
